SOME PARENTS SHA...

chinahangingA pair of twin boys had to be rescued by firefighters after becoming trapped on a window grid in Yulin, southern China's Guangxi Province. The two young boys climbed out of the window onto the grid after being left home alone while their parents went to work.

My take on this case is that i really feel sorry for these kids for having careless parents. I don't understand why they should leave  these kids on their own. One of them could have stayed to look after the kids, they are still babies  for crying out loud!. Children are big irresponsibility, they shouldn't have had them when they knew they wouldn't be able to look after them. Mscheww, work in deed.

As much as I want to blame the parents, I have to say that a lot of parents walk the tightrope - of trying to provide for their children's needs + trying to be with the children.
Parents living in cities suffer this especially, as they are far away from family support network; and they have to juggle the demands of parenthood.
The solution???
Hard to prescribe but if we all supported each other (i.e. shared childcare) things like this wouldnt happen

WOW @the picture.

I agree with N.I.L. I doubt think the average parent wakes up and decides to be "careless" with their kids. Children sometimes happen.... and the parents have to do what they got to do in order to provide for them.

Are those *pointing* the kids in the pic?

if yes, then they are too young to be left alone....BUT..it is not easy....becox they need the money and it is expected by the society that the woman sacrifices her career for it, which i DON'T support...so getting a baby sitter or nanny or putting them in day care center are the options...BUT maybe they are financially handicap & left the boys alone for few hours when one of them would come back after his /her shift...but children been what they are..INQUISITIVE ....they ventured out & i believe this is not the first time of leaving them behind and that grid was helpful, if not.........so am on the FENCE on this one...it's just unfortunate .....if a couple don't have children, they would be pressurized, when they do, they are stressed!...it's just a pity it happened like this and thankful that no life was lost.

@ Everyone: You guys are right;this is a very complicated situation. But them there must be someone they could leave the kids with either a family or friend, they are just too young to be left on their own. Thanks for reading.

Aww poor kids. After rescuing them I would probably flog them too. haba what were they looking for there?

I pray they don't lose their kids to welfare shaa. That would be a bigger tragedy.
